chat with a friend during office time...dil ki baatein

Friend: hehehe…I saw you in my dreams yesterday (don’t remember the dream)

me: ek baat bata yeh stars ko dreams mein dekhne ki umar mein tu mujhe kyoin dekhti hai :D

Friend: :D woh age beeth gayee!! ;) ... i dont dream of stars now.. probably my past exp also plays a role here.. :)

me: dil jaavaan to duniyaan jawaan hoti hai

Friend: I know the difference between dreams & reality now...

me: ahsaas aur sapne hi jindagi ko khoobsoorat banate hain

me: sapnoin ki duniya jyada achii lagati hai

Friend: hmm.. probably

me: i mean though dreams are not reality, they make us smile…reality hardly makes us smile, so I live reality but enjoy dreams

Friend: but how does it feel when they dont get fulfilled.. :)

me: u feel very bad when dreams are not fulfilled

Friend: exactly! the reason why I am scared to dream...

me: worse when u don’t know what is your mistake

Friend: but not that I don’t dream at all… I do dream... But probably don’t enjoy it

me: but the time u dream u feel good

Friend: the moment I start dreaming... I bring myself back to reality

me: thats wrong…just keep dreaming…after dream, say to yourself enjoyed now and now come back to reality

Friend: :D…ok..

me: this may give us mix of happy and sad feel that’s the balance…since reality hardly gives happiness. So dont rely completely on reality. We have all rights to make us feel good.

Friend: :D yeah

me: very stupid philosophy na :D

Friend: what to do.. we need to make ourselves happy.. :D

me: happiness is the ultimate goal of life :D

me: u r the only person who like my stupid philosophies :D

Friend: what ever happens to us in life... How much ever ups and downs we have seen.. one thing I have noticed is, our expectations never come down… :D hehehehe
we need to make ourselves happy na.. ;)

me: we should never keep our expectations low…but we should always keep hope alive

Friend: nope.. i feel expectations make us sad and make us suffer probably. They are too different things…
Hope is minimum... expectations are always high!!

me: see u should not limit time for fulfilling your expectations if expectations are high ..hope should be higher
Now u r young...so u say u have whole life to get that…after 50 ‘s, u should feel in my next life i will surely get that or you may start thinking your kids will do what all you could not do.
